  10. Included in the diskette are CDMATCH.EXE, CDMORE.DLL, DMEMSIZE.EXE, 
  11. DMEMSIZE.PIF, and README files.

  13. To run CD Match under:

  15. Windows 3.1x -- From Program Manager choose FILE-RUN and enter
  16.                 A:¥CDMATCH where A: represent the floppy drive that 
  17.                 contains the CD Match files.
  18.  
  19. Windows 95   -- From the Windows Desktop Taskbar choose START-RUN and 
  20.                 enter A:¥CDMATCH where A: represent the floppy drive that 
  21.                 contains the CD Match files.

  29. 1.  If the CD-ROM is marked "Not Available" by CD Match, please execute the
  30.     CD Match program using a different CD-ROM which contains at least 10 Mb
  31.     of data excluding audio CD's.
  32.  
  33. 2.  If error message "File Error CTL3DV2.DLL not found" occurs, simply 
  34.     choose "Close" in the error window and CD Match will continue with the
  35.     system inspection.  CD Match uses CTL3DV2.DLL to gather video card
  36.     information.  If not found, CD Match will utilize alternate methods to
  37.     gather information.

  39. 3.  You will encounter screen refresh and desktop painting problems with
  40.     Orchid Fahrenheit 1280 video cards with a Video Bios earlier than 3.0.  
  41.     Our tests have seen problems with the ISA bus Bios 2.1 and the VLB bus
  42.     Bios 1.3 in combination with video card drivers ver 3.32 and 5.01.  
  43.     CD Match is compatible with Video Bios version 3.0 and driver 7.0.

  45. 4.  Windows 95 and ProAudio Spectrum 16 sound boards will be rated as 
  46.     8 bit sound compatible if the DMA is set to 1 or 3 in the configuration.  
  47.     If set to 5, 6 or 7, CD Match will read it as 16 bit sound compatible. 
  48.     DMA 1 or 3 are 8 bit DMA channels for Windows 95.

  50. 5.  Problems have been encountered while running CD Match with Patrick 
  51.     Breen's Barclock v2.3 loaded.  Please unload Barclock and rerun CD Match.
